What to expect from this year’s Apple Music Festival

The Apple Music™ Festival is an annual concert event in London that brings big-name musicians together for a series of live performances. Previously, this event was known as the iTunes Festival, but it has been renamed for 2015 due to the launch of Apple Music. The event has been around since 2007, and they have had performances from Amy Winehouse and Justin Timberlake to Coldplay and everything in between.

September 19th marks the beginning of this year’s ten-day festival at London’s Roundhouse.  The festival includes ten days of headlining performances from huge international artists, including One Direction, Florence + The Machine, The Weeknd, and Pharrell Williams.  Each headlining act performs with a supporting act, bringing in more artists like James Bay and Little Mix. The festival can be viewed live on Apple Music, iTunes, and Apple TV.  They will also have videos of each individual performance for a limited time after each day has ended.

Disclosure is set to perform Sept. 25.

September 21st:  Carrie Underwood with special guests The Shire and Cam

September 22nd: One Direction with special guest Little Miix

September 23rd:  The Weekend with special guest Grace Mitchell

September 24th:  The Chemical Brothers

September 25th:  Disclosure with special guests NAO and Lion Babe

September 26th:  Pharrell Williams with special guest Leon Bridges

September 27th:  Mumford & Sons with special guest Jack Garratt

September 28th:  Florence + The Machine with special guest James Bay.
